Another typical Hunk daughter with the added distinction of being the daughter of the 2011 ADGA National Champion. At this stage she appears to be nearly identical to her dam...one can hope...

A very difficult kidding left this doe kid almost completely limp. She was tube fed for several days while she slowly came to life starting at the nose and working backwards (which is why she is still affectionately known as "Dishrag"). At 5 days she could stand if you stood her up, and nurse from a bottle on her own. At one week she stood up by herself, and at 9 days she walked. By three weeks of age, she seemed almost perfectly normal except for her left hind foot, which persisted in knuckling over so that she walked on the front of her pastern. We splinted this foot using a small finger splint; two weeks later the splint came off for good, and now you can't tell that there was ever anything wrong with her.

I'm hoping that this breeding will produce an udder similar to her close cousin Electra's, since this is a similar combination of Luck ofthe Draw with one of his sisters, in this case MCH Twin Creeks LS Pixie Fern.

Like most of the Tuan kids we have seen so far, Sunny is long and level, with beautiful feet and legs, nice angulation and a ton of width in the rear.

Verdi is the spitting image of her dam, and if that holds true when she freshens, she will be lovely indeed.

Inana's sire, Hallelujah,is the only offspring of his late dam Chiaroscuro that I still have here, and Inana looks much like him, which is a very good thing. My sincere thanks to Allison at Sunset Lake Ranch for the above photo and many others from the 2011 ADGA Nationals. (I think it was such a surprise that our 2 year old Topaz won the National Champion award that the show photographer never in fact took ANY photos of Topaz in the lineup for GCH--but Allison did!) I am very interested to see how this double Hal granddaughter turns out.

Dam: Dragonfly L Niniane (Dragonfly TA Lancelot du Lac x Twin Creeks BW Pacifica 4*D E AR)

Another fuzzy picture of a pretty little doe. Up until now we have been calling her MiniNini, since she looks just like her dam. Nimue represents a nice linebreeding on the lovely Here For the Party.
